Although the DNC will probably come after Rep. Randy Forbes (R-VA) with both barrels in the next election, I thought it would be nice to share with my fellow THer's why I don't might mind re-electing this guy. Now, if we can just find 434 more people just like him we might have a chance of saving our country.
Randy has been a stand-up guy and although we have not seen eye to eye on some of his votes he has never given me good reason to see him replaced. He gets it on the economy, illegal aliens, family values, and has a lifetime 95% ACU rating during his 7 years in Congress, as opposed to another member of the Virginia delegation, Jim Moran (Communist-VA), who proudly holds a zero rating for 2007 and a lifetime 14% for his 17 years in DC, and advocates redistribution of wealth publicly.
In a time when it's hard to find something positive to say about Republicans, I am happy to say I am glad to have him as my representative. (Even if Red Nanny won't let him actually represent me)
Thanks Randy. Keep talking like that and you can't lose my vote.
