Here's a Wild Stab in the Dark

Post-mortem: It's Biden! And he brings to the campaign the first broken promise of the joint ticket. Anyone remember this quote from Mr. Clean? "I would not accept it if anyone offered it to me. The fact of the matter is I'd rather stay as chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee than be vice president." So much for integrity. Well, thanks for playing everyone. That was fun!

Update2! Drudge now reports that it may be Bayh. The source? Printers printing bumper stickers!!!

Update!
Fox News is reporting that Obama has curtailed advertising in battleground states.(money problems???)

The Drudge Report provides this link, to an article concerning the Democratic Party’s potential nominee. The name of Chet Edwards has surfaced causing some high degree of speculation on the part of pundits, politicians and the MSM. The article states in part:

Barack Obama prepares to name running mate

Rep. Chet Edwards, whose district includes President Bush's ranch in Crawford, Texas, had made the list of finalists. Sens. Joe Biden of Delaware and Evan Bayh of Indiana were also in the mix, as were Govs. Tim Kaine of Virginia and Kathleen Sebelius of Kansas—and any unknown others Obama had managed to keep secret despite intense scrutiny.”

Couple that information with the following three quotes:

Obama told reporters on Thursday he's already made his choice, and aides have used the prospect of a text-message announcement to try and attract additional supporters by soliciting their cell phone numbers and e-mail addresses.”

Hundreds of miles to the west, carpenters, electricians, sound stage gurus and others transformed the Pepsi Center in Denver into a made-for-television convention venue.”

Tucked away in one corner were thousands of lightweight rolled cardboard handles, meant to allow delegates to wave signs bearing the names of the ticket—once the identity of Obama's running mate was known. “

And the inquiring mind of a printer asks: “Would Obama name a candidate strictly based on the fact that they had already printed millions of signs reading Obama/Edwards ’08??? We should know the answer very soon. Ha! Ha! Ha!
